How is the price
determined?
-
Review of the
initial materials: Consider the files, tapes, discs or
other information you have on
hand. Will we need to contact anyone to get additional logos,
photos, videos, or background? Is your source material in good
condition?
-
Carefully
estimate the conversion, editing and/or design
time: This is the most time-consuming aspect of most projects and your
work order reflects the projected amount of time needed. You will
be asked to approve any additional time required.
-
Consider the end
format: Once your project is done we will prepare it in the format(s) you
requested. If there is a better alternative we will let you know up
front (for example, people often ask for a DVD when they really need
a clip for the web).
-
Agree on shipping, pick-up or
delivery: Most of our work is local and can be picked up. As
a collection of freelancers (with fulltime jobs) we work together to
serve you, and are available by appointment only from our main
address. Delivery is also an option and may include a small
transportation fee.
How do you bill?
-
All projects require
approval before work begins, and in moist cases, we agree on what
the outcomes will be in person. Some projects may require approval
by email. We will produce a work order and list relevant details,
any findings, and an estimated cost.
-
Payment is typically due upon completion. -
Projects that
require extra processing, assigned event taping, or travel may require a 50% deposit.
What is the refund policy?
-
Clients
agree on the work to be completed in advance to minimize any
potential issues, and we take great care to deliever your expected
results. We will always ask how you want us to handle any decision
points that may increase the estimated time or cost. -
To date, we have never had to issue a refund (but we have had to remind a few people to pay).
